In the player's page, you have listed all the players and basic information about them.

Information about them is very clear. The stars represent a simplified way players skill on offense and defense.
This was done so that the rookies can find there way easier in the beginning without going into fine details.

For a little more experienced managers there are some finer details, which you will be able to access by clicking on any one of the players. By doing this you will be able to see all of the player's information and skills.

In the right upper corner you have an Overall representation of the player which is shown by the stars.

Skills:

There are 6 basic skills that a player can train:

Defense
Shoot
Speed
Dribbling
Strength
Post Moves

Our deliberate intention was to create only 6 of them so that by combining them the user can create specific types of players.

There is also a skill Experience that increases based on the number of games the player has played.

Basic skills and Experience will be represented by a number between 1 and 30.

Besides Basic skills and Experience there are also Hidden skills:

Rebound
Pass

Hidden skills can't be seen but rather have to be discovered or recognized trough statistics and watching the game.
Hidden skills will increase as the player ages, but that will be individual for every player.

The explanation for every skill:

Defense
This skill represents how good a player generally plays defense and represents the primary skill for defense.

Shoot
This skill will allow Players that have high shooting skills to be able to score even thou they were not able to create a good position with his offensive skills.
Shooting percentage for 1 point will be directly tied to this skill as will the players three-point shooting ability.
Players that have very high shooting skill will be hard to stop from the outside like Stephen Curry

Speed
This skill will not be only tied to a player's faster movement on the court but will also be tied to the quality of his movement: outside, inside, demarcation, etc.

Dribbling
This skill represents the overall technique of outside players ( pint guards, shooting guards, small forwards). This means that players that have higher skill in dribbling will more easily pass their defender's through a variety of dribblings like crossover, euro step, trough his legs ... And will also allow them to play better actions like pick and roll and similar.

Strength
Because strength plays an important role in modern basketball we added this skill to be comparable to speed for outside players only strength will be most important inside, it will be important for driving to the hoop, positioning under the rim etc.

Post Moves
This skill represents the overall technique for Centers and it is comparable to dribbling for outside players.

Experience
Experience is very important and it increases with the number of games the player plays. Experience gives bonuses to all other skills equally.

Rebound
This skill will help a player get rebounds (both in offense and defense). It will be very important for you to discover a player that has a high Jump skill because this will help you get more offensive rebounds and also decrease your opponent's offensive rebounds.

Pass
Pass represents a players ability to accurately pass the ball. A player that has high passing skill will choose good solutions in offense and help the player that is on the receiving end of the pass to get a better position for a shoot.

Types of players

One of the goals of this game is for the manager to create different types of players with a combination of skills. And then to use the right type of player against the opponent in order to exploit the opponents weakness.

In this game you can create all types of players that exist in basketball, I will not reveal all of them but here are some examples:

A defensive specialist: DEF, SPE, STR
Shooting guard like Miloš Teodosić: SHO, DRI, SPE
Offensive Small Forward like Grant Hill: DRI, SPE, STR
Strong Center like Nikola Peković: PM, STR, DEF
Fake Power Forward like Dirk Nowitzki: SHO, PM, SPE

What is interesting is that Centers that play well outside will create a lot of problems for Centers that play good defense in the basket.

Example: Center with good DEF and STR is defending against a Center that plays outside. When he leaves the basket to defend outside the role his STR skill had now diminished significantly and the role his SPE skill has increased significantly.

In this case the manager has an option to attack good defenders with the proper use of the right tactics.

Fatigue

Depending on what defensive and offensive style you use it will increase or decrease the
players Fatigue.
Soft setting brings 8% Fatigue - The player will save himself and will not use his full potential
Normal setting brings 12.5% Fatigue
Aggressive setting brings 20.5% Fatigue - The player is very focused on giving the maximum of his abilities

Fatigue will be added up before every quarter and if it goes over 100% Fatigue the player will receive a penalty and an increased chance for an injury.

Here are some combinations you will be able to do:

Soft/Soft is 16% Fatigue for every quarter the player can play 4/4 and at the end, he will have 64%
Fatigue
Soft/Normal is 20,5% Fatigue for every quarter the player can play 4/4 and at the end, he will have 82%
Fatigue
Normal/Normal is 25% Fatigue for every quarter the player can play 3/4 and at the end, he will have 75% Fatigue
Normal/Aggressive is 33% Fatigue for every quarter the player can play 2/4 and at the end, he will have 66% Fatigue
Soft/Aggressive is 28,5% Fatigue for every quarter the player can play 3/4 and at the end, he will have 85,5%Fatigue
Aggressive/Aggressive is 41% Fatigue for every quarter the player can play 2/4 and at the end, he will have 82% Fatigue

Every player loses 32% Fatigue every day, Medical Facility increases the amount of Fatigue a player loses every day.
This way teams that play everyday League, Cup, Euro Cup ... can with only a few players more and a very well developed Medical Facility be able to stay competitive in all the competitions.
